Babylon follows young reggae DJ Blue (played by Aswad front man Brinsley Forde) as he battles rival sound system Jah Shaka — as well as the system: the racism and violence of his neighborhood in South London. The film captures the trials and tribulations of young black youths in troubled London in the early eighties.
